Hello Soccer Families:

Registration for the Fall 2026 Core Season is open! Teams will be formed in Late July, but in order to do so we need to have volunteer coaches for the teams.

AYSO Region 89 - La Mesa is actively seeking volunteers to coach the following age divisions:

U6 Boys
U6 Girls
U8 Boys
U8 Girls
U10 Boys
U10 Girls
U12 Boys
U12 Girls
U14 Boys
U14 Girls
U16 Boys
U16 Girls
      
Benefits of Coaching:

- You set the practice schedule (We know everyone is busy so why not have practice schedules where there is no conflict? If need to be there anyway, might as well make it during a time you're available).

- You have impact on player's lives (not only will you have a positive impact on your own child, but you also get to be a positive influence for your entire team, we've seen where players remember the impact a coach has had on them years after they played soccer).

- Training: (AYSO will provide needed training for you to have all the pieces you need for coaching youth soccer.  All YOU need is to bring the gift of some of your time, and a desire to give a group of kids a positive experience playing soccer.  Never Coached before?  Not a problem, we can train you! Never Played Soccer?  Not a problem, we can train you!  Never saw a soccer ball before the first one you bought for your kid? STILL not a problem, we'll train you!)

- Equipment (AYSO will provide practice pinnies and cones for your practice sessions).
